Creative Techniques #3

February 27, 2012

One of my all-time favourite products that has
gained economic footing thanks to Scrapbooking,
is chipboard.

Grey/brown – it is pretty unattractive stuff.

Plain brown sheet of chipboard

However . . . when it is diecut or pressed (embossed) it becomes something simply spectacular.

I adore chipboard as I am yet to find a technique that I can’t do with it.

Here are just a few techniques.

When I get my camera working again,
I will share my favourite techniques from my own stash :)

Calendar – My January

January 6, 2012

I just wanted y’all to see my completed January calendar page.

I think I might be a tad proud of it :)

It’s got the basics – but . . . BORING!

I wanted a page that reflected the optimistic start to a year, with a hint of the reality – i.e. wine glass stain

 and some close-ups

A gorgeous little brass frame + printed text + Glossy Accents

Prima flower with inked edges + Green Tara ribbons cut and stitched into flowers + Bo Bunny buttons and metal embellishments

What do you think?
