I’m holding a new craft class this month.
Something I have a distinct passion for . . . . cool storage ideas.
Best yet – it’s DIY, so you can alter and adjust them to suit your own needs.
I LOVE having the ability and opportunity
to modify something to make it perfect for my place.
So cool!
I’ll post some pictures of my own choice as soon as I have finished :)

For a number of years – at least three – I have been a fan of the Graphics Fairy blog.
A massive fan!
Karen (aka The Graphics Fairy) is INCREDIBLY generous with her
digital work and image editing.
The Graphics Fairy
I’ve used one of her images here.
.
Do you think I put it to good use?
Today I just had to share one of her latest blog posts:
“10 DIY Pillow Ideas“.
So absolutely cool!
.
.
.
Do you love these designs as much as I do?
Aren’t they amazing?
How would you use one of Karen’s designs
to create a designer cushion?
I’d love to see a photo if you give it a try :)

Stacey Dunning from Block Head Stampers,
wrote this amazingly helpful post
comparing various specialist** stamp pads.
Originally,
I came across it on the Jellybeans FB page
I then created a printable Table
so as to keep handy when I ordered any stamp pads
OR
when I did a particular project
that required a special ink.
I’ve already found it so helpful.
Onya,

I have always loved Fonts.
Being a calligrapher from a young age (11+)
how could I not be in love
with the lines, and swirls and connections of different fonts.
It’s so cool.
So imagine my delight
upon stumbling across
a Periodic Table of Fonts.

A few parents here and there,
find school holidays a real survival challenge.
Especially the six week long, Christmas/Summer holidays
we have down here in Oz.
But I remember my Mum loved having us home for the holidays.
We were on the opposite end of ‘wealthy’ on the economic scale,
however we always had SO much fun.
I have such fond memories of
* playing with paper dolls (hours and hours)
* playing schools, shops and Mums & Dads
* mucking around outside
* and colouring in.
Man,
I really loved colouring in.
Still do – big time!
Recently,
I decided that I wanted to make a poster for my 2014 ‘Word’,
which is actually two words . . .
“Dream BIG”.
After quite a few drafts,
I finally made a copy that I would be happy to colour in.
And here it is
for you to print off
and perhaps colour in yourself,
or share it with some ‘short people’ that you know would enjoy it.
And if you do,
please, PLEASE
send me a photo,
via the comments section,
of your completed awesomeness.

I have had a LOT of requests
to run classes these School Holidays.
After a year away from this particular spotlight,
I was unsure if I could still do it.
And then I realised
– I missed it.
Badly!
So here is the timetable
& photos
to help you visualise what each class is about.
NB
The timetable is mainly for CHILDREN,
however,
I am eager to cater for adults at any other given timeslot
including the weekends or evenings
when a tipple or two would be socially acceptable!!!!

As I already had the clay laying around
– ’cause I needed an excuse –
I decided to make a just few more
stamped polymer clay images.
.
.
I even used some un-stamped ‘scraps’ to finish of a drop pendant design.
.
.
You like ?
So tell me . . . have you made anything like this.
I’d love you to share.
Put a link in the comments
so that we can all see your imagination at work.

Polymer clay keyrings
This is such a cute and simple idea from Ashley at the blog “Make It-Love It”.
She has simple & terrific ideas and I have ‘pinned‘ a LOT of her tutorials.
Here is my attempt at this great little craft idea.
.
1. I usually use Sculpey, as it is a great quality product and yet is probably the most affordable.
.
.
2. Break off a piece of polymer clay and then ‘work’ it. The warmer you get it, the more pliable it becomes.
.
.
3. Flatten polymer clay between two equal-height sticks.
.
.
4. Using a waterproof ink pad, ink up a stamp.
Choose a stamp image that offers a strong silhouette.
.
.
5. Gently pull the polymer clay away from the stamp
.
.
6. Try stopping at one – impossible !!
.
.
I’d love to see if you make one.
Add a link in the comments, or send me a photo :)

I have been unable to spend much time at JellyBean Scrappers lately.
But, last Thursday I caught up with BigToni from JBS and she showed me a project that she had loaded at JBS, as a Challenge for April.
Here’s where she got the idea from . . .
Tea Party Blog Hop . . . click to link :)
Paper Tea Cup . . . click on image for link to Template & Instructions
Here’s the template, itself . . .
Ann Wood Tea Cup – Template
.
Ann’s instructions are wonderfully detailed
I have started making my version. I am quite enjoying it
. . . well it does involve glue and mess :)
I will be posting a tutorial from my trial and also a new tutorial as I have already discovered a new way that I think I want mine to turn out.
. . . cause I cannot seem to accept what ‘is’!
I probably won’t get time until ANZAC Day
(Thursday 25th April)
Ciao bellas!
